Bill Cruikshank attended our home and gave us estimates for a remodel of our kitchen for granite countertops. The job price came in under my estimate and was done on time and with the utmost of care. The colour patterns in the granite were all cut to match and the seam on the counter was the best I have ever seen . I am a real estate professional who observes hundreds of counters a year. I have hired VI Granite & Repairs on 2 separate occasions. In both instances Bill went out of his way to assist me with the challenge of choosing the granite for my projects. We find VI Granite very easy to work with and someone we can count on to do a consistantly good job. They are carful to explain the process from selecting the stone/ solid surface to how the application will best suite the individual needs of the end user. We encountered VI Granite at our local trade show. They installed Kitchen counters and a few months later, because of the excellent workmanship and installation, we had then install counters in both Bathrooms and Laundry room. VI granite & Repairs installed countertops in my kitchen and bathrooms. I was given a great deal of help in choosing just the right stone to update these rooms in my "new" 20-year-old house. When the stone I had paid for arrived it was very different to the sample on which my choice was based. The owner gave me the opportunity to choose another stone. When what was available within my price range didn't seem to be exactly right, he offered me a quartz that was more expensive--at the original price. There are no seams in any of the counters, and the installation was carried out carefully and efficiently. VI Granite was recommended by our cabinet maker and we were very happy that we took his advice. From the moment we stepped in the yard at their place of business until installation we could not have been happier with the professionalism and attention to detail. The granite was delivered ahead of time, installed with expertise and within the projected cost. We had only 2 seams in the kitchen (almost invisible) and we were so impressed with the counter top cut to fit into the window, solving our dilemma about a sill. I had VI Granite install Quartz countertops in my kitchen. The finished product is beautiful, the seam disappears, you can't see it and you can't feel it. From the time Bill made the template to the date he installed them took 2 weeks. Very professional job. I would recommend him.

Good selection of products. Very helpful and obliging, they came on time and installed the counter top very quickly with no issues or fuss. Very good workmanship.

The business owners are also on the tools. Bill Sr. took the time away from what he was doing in the shop to show us the granite choices that could work for us. The work was done on schedule and at the price quoted. Installation and finish was high quality and they took care not to make a mess. Bill Jr. also left us with cleaner and sealant to use on the granite.

I hired VI Granite to install a quartz counter top in our kitchen with an under mounted sink after talking with them at a Home Show. There were other companies at the home show offering a similar service, but I liked the demeanor and attitude of the staff of VI Granite, as well as their knowledge of the product.
Bill (the owner) came over and measured our kitchen. We looked through sample books and my wife and I selected a few for me to get larger samples of from their showroom. When I went to pick up the larger samples, Bill said, "take this sample with you too and see if you like it". It was unlike any of the others and I was a bit skeptical. When we laid them out in the kitchen his sample was the hands down winner. The counter was installed shortly after and It fit perfectly and the seams are practically invisible.
We were going to replace our sink and faucet at the same time and VI Granite said they could get them for us, which they did for a better price. The faucet did not arrive in time, so they lent us a brand new one until it did.
I was very impressed with not only the workmanship but with the staff as well.

We'd looked at a lot of granite before going to VI Granite. We drove into their yard and while my husband was talking to Bill, I took a look and within 5 minutes had found what I wanted. A reasonable quote followed and as soon as our kitchen was ready for it, the granite was installed. We left the house for work in the morning and when we came home at the end of the day, it was installed. No fuss, no mess, no trace that anyone had been there, other than the fact that our BEAUTIFUL granite was now installed. I would recommend Bill to anyone.
