Getting Started

Step #1  Getting a Quote

There are 2 ways we can do this. You can come to our shop to see the stone and to drop off or send your measurements, or we can bring samples to you for a FREE in home consultation. VI Granite & Quartz Countertops will be quoting you based on stone selection, square footage and weather you have an undermount or topmount sink.

The following information is required for all countertop quotes:

• Layout drawing of countertop surface
• Height of backsplash if needed
• topmount or undermount sink

• Edge profiles
• Corners
• Large radius�
• Overhangs 

Step #2  Selecting your stone 

Choosing natural stone for your countertop is not always as easy as it looks. Some granite colours have limited quantity, so if find a stone you love and your kitchen is still weeks away, we recommend paying your deposit and we can put the stone on hold for you. Since granite is a natural stone there are no 2 slabs that look alike. The natural variation in each slab is what gives granite its unique beauty. If you are looking for consistency there are a few granites to choose from. Although you may want to consider Quartz countertops as it is much more consistent in colour and still has the beauty of a stone countertop.

The final step in selecting you countertop requires the selection on your undermount sink, faucet, cooktop, pullout stove or any additional appliances that will affect your countertop.
